ADMISSIONS
The International School of Ulm / Neu-Ulm offers an inquiry-based program in English for students from ages 3 to 18
The International School of Ulm/Neu-Ulm welcomes students living in the Ulm region who originate from different countries.
We also enroll the children of German and other resident families who are globally-minded and would like to join an international learning community.

Get to know us! We invite you to contact our Admissions Team at admissions@is-ulm.de in order to organise a school tour and parent meeting.
If you would like to start the application process for our school, please fill out our pre-registration form online (one per child). Once this has been approved by our Admissions Team you will gain access to create a parent account within our system.
In order to complete the application process please then submit the following online:

Grade 2 - 5: Last 3 report cards (Translated into English) & Letter of Recommendation Homeroom teacher

Grade 6 - 8: Last 3 report cards (Translated into English) & Self-evaluation form & Letter of Recommendation Principal

Grade 9 - 12: Last 3 report cards (Translated into English) & Transcript - Essay - Letter of Recommendations: Principal, Math & English teacher

Proof of Measles vaccination (Please note that as of 1st March 2020, German law requires that children in childcare facilities and schools must be vaccinated against measles)

Applicants with limited English proficiency or special needs (such as dyslexia, ADHD, and medical intervention) will be assessed by the head of school in order to ensure that the school can offer the necessary educational program.

Financial Aid Programme
​
The ISU Financial Aid Programme offers eligible applicants societally reasonable school fees. Natural persons, who are self-payers, can file an application for reduction of Tuition Fees if the family's means are such that the school fees cannot be paid in full (in the meaning of the German Basic Law [Grundgesetz], art. 7, sec. 4). The family's means are its assets and its income. For further information please reach out to our admissions team (admissions@is-ulm.de) during the application process for new students or our finance department (invoice@is-ulm.de) for students that are already part of the ISU community.
